Trophy Tom

Rick Copeland shows off his trophy tom taken during the California 2005 spring turkey season while hunting in Northern California.

According to Copeland, this is the first turkey he has taken in 20 years. Most of his time during hunting seasons is spent managing (not hunting) the properties leased for California's largest hunting club, Wilderness Unlimited.

Copeland was also instrumental in assisting the DFG in starting the popular spring Turkey Expo held each year.
