The California Deer Association (CDA), in cooperation with the Tejon Ranch and with support from Winchester Ammunition and Tasco a wholly owned division of Bushnell® Performance Optics, is pleased to announce that the number of deer hunts to be given away to junior hunters in the 2005 Sharing the Tradition drawing has been increased. This year CDA will be giving away 15 antlerless deer hunts to junior hunters, an increase from the 10 hunts given away in 2004. If you're a California junior hunter and weren't drawn in this year's Department of Fish and Game special deer tag drawings, you have a second chance at a great deer hunt. Through the Sharing the Tradition program, junior hunters will be given the chance to win a free, antlerless deer hunt on the largest ranch in California. The Tejon Ranch is located on 270,000 acres in the mountains just south of Bakersfield, California. Your hunt will be fully guided and you and your adult companion will be staying on the ranch in one of its first-class hunting lodges. Winners will be randomly drawn. There is no cost to enter the drawing. The normal hunt or access fee will not be charged to the junior hunters whose names are drawn. Five junior hunters will hunt on each of the three hunt dates. This is not a drawing conducted by the California Department of Fish and Game. To enter the drawings, send a standard postcard only to: Sharing the Tradition California Deer Association P.O.
