Super Hunt for Supertag Winner
Mike Marchant of Merdian, Idaho could hunt deer this fall in any open hunt across Idaho, but one spot on the map has held his imagination for a long time.

Marchant has his autumn planned, right up until the late buck hunt in Unit 45, well known among mule deer hunters for holding many of the biggest bucks in Idaho. He has wanted to hunt the unit for two decades but had not been lucky in the controlled hunt process. "I've put in for 20 years and never drawn on that particular hunt, so it's pretty exciting."

Marchant is one of 16 winners in the latest Idaho Fish and Game Supertag drawing. Winners recieved Idaho's sought-after big game tags including deer, antelope, elk and moose.

Coeur d'Alene hunter James Parker won the "Superslam Pak" which includes tags for all four species.

This is the second drawing of the season and all proceeds benefit the Access Yes! program. The revenue raised from both summer drawings has exceeded the $150,000 mark, and those funds will be used to compensate participating landowners who provide access to anglers and hunters on or through private property.
