Responses to Blacktail Letter
Where did Mr. Overthehill come up with this info. Just pull it out of a hat? Most of the mule deer in California are in the X Zone areas, at least 95%.
You're probably not able to read the difference in the horns? Maybe not enough experience. I've been hunting deer in California since 1972. So I feel very confident when I tell you you're very wrong. There are thousands of blacktails east of the Sacramento River.
Here, check out this site. Maybe you could learn the difference.

So maybe you can learn something instead of ripping on Western Hunter when they're just plain right and you're WRONG!

Could you explain to Mr. Overholtzer that any deer taken on the west side of the Sacramento River is considered Blacktail and that the border for C-4 is lnterstate 5, which in some places is 20 miles from the river. I have seen deer in Stoney Creek that are huge and in C-4.
Just thought I'd comment.
