The hunt will be followed by a free pancake and sausage breakfast. “Every year, the Chandler Rod and Gun Club teams up with us and they put out quite a spread for the young hunters and their parents,” says Bill Larson of the Arizona Game and Fish Department.
A portion of the Robbins Butte Wildlife Area will be restricted to junior hunters only. Shooting stations are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis unless the number of hunters is greater than available shooting stations. In that case, a drawing will be held at 4:45 a.m.
Young hunters must check in at the check station prior to hunting and check out following completion of their hunt.
