2003 PAUNSAUGUNT, UTAH DEER HUNT

Your winning bid will get you the following:

• One-on-One guide service with experienced guide, Larry Clarkson. Larry will be guiding you for up to ten days in the best mule deer country in the world. As the only Premium Limited-Entry area in Utah, the Paunsaugunt has proven year after year that there still are big bucks out there. Hunting will take place on a few private ranches to which only Larry has access.

• You will be staying in your choice of one of the 10 cabins at Deer Springs Ranch. Located in the center of the Paunsaugunt, Deer Springs Ranch is the ideal spot to call home for two weeks during the hunt. The cabins sleep from 6 to 22 people so there is plenty of room to bring along the family or some hunting buddies. There is basically no electricity in the cabins. They have propane refrigerators, stoves, hot water heaters, and lamps. Each cabin is furnished with bed linens, towels, and eating and cooking utensils. Just bring your food, clothes, hunting gear and whatever else you want.

• You will receive one Paunsaugunt voucher which allows you to purchase your choice of an archery, rifle, or muzzleloader tag. The archery hunt is from August 15 to September 4. The rifle hunt is October 8-13. The muzzleloader hunt is from October 26 to November 8. You choose the hunt that works best for you.

• Just in case you find that 40-inch buck on opening morning, there are plenty of other things to do in the area for the rest of your two-week adventure. The ranch has guided horse rides available for $15, fishing in the stocked trout ponds for $10 per 3 fish, and miles of roads and trails for hiking and ATVs. Bring the camera and shoot a few more animals including elk, antelope, turkeys and many more. There are enough national parks and other scenic attractions to keep you entertained for days. You could take day trips to Bryce Canyon National Park, Cedar Breaks National Monument, Zion National Park, Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park, Grand Canyon National Park, and Lake Powell National Recreation Area, just to name a few. Deer Springs Ranch borders the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument which contains some of the most scenic country in the United States.

There are Monster Bucks out there just waiting for you to come and get them. If you have any questions or need clarification on something, please contact any of the following as soon as possible. We want to have your questions answered for you before the bidding begins.
