Women's Pheasant Hunt
The Department of Fish and Game, in an effort to promote and expand hunting opportunities, is pleased to announce a special women's pheasant hunt at Grizzly Island Wildlife Area in Solano County. The hunt will be a limited-entry wild pheasant hunt for fifteen (15) licensed female hunters on Saturday, November 23, 2002. A special area of Grizzly Island will be reserved just for this hunt. Reservations will be issued by a random drawing.

How to Apply:

On a standard postcard, write the hunter's name, address, phone number, and hunting license number. Mail the postcard to:

    Grizzly Island Women's Pheasant Hunt,
    2548 Grizzly Island Road,
    Suisun, CA 94585-9539

Each person can apply only once. Parties of two hunters will be accepted (include all information for each hunter on one card). Postcards must be received by Friday, November 8, 2002 to be included in the drawing. All successful applicants will be notified by mail. There will be no fee for this hunt and each participant may bring one guest.
