The Arizona Game and Fish Department, along with various sportsmen's groups, is sponsoring a biological symposium on Arizona quail management on October 22 and 23 in Phoenix.
"This is not about hunting, but a technical science symposium to discuss quail biology and management," said small game supervisor Mike Rabe. The symposium starts at 8:30 a.m. at the La Quinta Inn, 2510 W. Greenway, Phoenix. The symposium is to assess the current state of quail management and to involve the public in management decisions.The symposium includes talks on quail biology and management. There is also a panel of quail experts from both inside and outside Arizona. Registration is free, but limited to 100 on a first-come, first-served basis. You must be registered to attend.
