The approval process for new ODFW Point-of-Sale license agents was clarified to include the availability of computer equipment, the need for agents in an area, convenience of location and business hours, and predicted sales volume.

In some cases, the licensing database has two different individuals assigned to the same social security number. ODFW is required by state and federal law to collect social security numbers. When this occurs, an official document such as a payroll stub or social security card must be presented by the customer as proof. The record will then be corrected.

Upon request, disabled veterans who provide official written certification they are 65 percent disabled from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs or any branch of the armed forces will be granted an ODFW permanent disabilities permit.
