| Ken Grant shows off two longbeards taken on opening morning of the California spring turkey season. The gobblers were taken by Grant and Dave Kiper on public land in the Los Padres National Forest. Grants's bird was 21 pounds with a 10-inch beard and Kiper's was 18 pounds with a 9 3/4-inch beard. | |||||||||||||||||
