The Chico Chapter of the California Deer Association (CDA) will hold its Annual Banquet and Auction Fund-Raiser for 2000 on March 17th at the Elks Club in Chico. One of the highlights of the evening will be the auction of a California Open Zone deer tag. The high bidder will be allowed to use the tag in all zones during the 2000 deer season in California as well as in all of the special draw hunts.

In addition to the great items in the raffle that night, including rifles and outstanding artwork, here is just a sample of the items that will be up for auction:
• Five day non-guided deer hunt in Montana
• Five day combination deer/bear hunt on a private ranch in California
• Two day/two person pig hunt at Dye Creek
• Oregon blacktail hunt
• Guided duck hunt for two persons
• Pheasant hunt for two persons
• Youth deer hunts

This CDA fund-raiser was a sellout last year. Don't wait to get your tickets. Cost is $60 each or $80 for a couple. Adult tickets include a one-year membership and a subscription to the CDA newsletter.
